A Florida agency license with a number you can check

Post counts built from your floor plan and your doors
Staffing is worked out from the room: how many entrances, how many of them are credentialed, where the loading dock sits, what the venue lists as capacity, and how the crowd moves between sessions or sets. That produces a post-by-post plan with a head count and hours against each position, so you can see where the money goes and cut a post you decide against. A supervisor is assigned to the event and attends the posts, and incidents are documented with the documentation going to you.

The rate is explained before you commit to it
Event coverage in Central Florida runs roughly $24 to $34 an hour unarmed and $32 to $46 armed. That range comes from Florida guard wages of about $14 to $18 unarmed and $18 to $26 armed (ZipRecruiter, Salary.com and Indeed, 2026) and an industry bill rate of 1.5 to 2 times the wage (Belfry Software, 2026).
